VFW Post 7313, also known as Joe Wagner Post, is a veterans' organization dedicated to supporting veterans in Chatham County. The post holds monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday (except December), featuring dinner at 6:30 p.m and meetings at 7:00 p.m, and participates in community events such as Memorial Day and Veterans' Day celebrations in downtown Pittsboro. The Post also hosts the occasional "Steak and Smoke" night open to the general public, (18+ only, please). It offers support to veterans in need and encourages veteran membership to strengthen its mission. Services include community outreach, veteran assistance, and fostering camaraderie among members.
